The Language Research And Publishing Center Varodra has claimed that 47 new languages have been discovered by their team in a language survey which was done after 9 decades. The previous survey was done George Grearson under the British Rule. The British government discovered 733 languages and now after the recent survey the list has increased to 780 languages. The survey team included 700 language workers and 320 language experts.
The team has disapproved the claim of the UNESCO that 200 languages are under danger or verge of end. There is expectation that there are at least 80 to 100 languages in India which are yet to be discovered.
